Returns and Exchanges
You may exchange or return items within 10 days of purchase. Item must be in unused new condition and in the original packaging including manuals, cables, adapters, warranty cards and any other item that is included with that purchase. All returns should show no signs of wear or abuse, otherwise the return will be refused. There is a restocking fee of 15% on all new items returned.
Any repairs or service costs required to put items into original condition will be deducted from the refund.
Some exceptions apply, which typically include gift receipts, shipping charges, special orders, and items marked as final sale.
* Products not eligible for refunds include:
Mouthpieces, open packages of reeds, harmonicas, activated software, headphones, ear plugs, microphones, cleaning products, opened strings, guitar picks and slides, amplifier tubes, print music, books, CDs, videos, drumheads, drumsticks, laundered clothing, and store gift cards.
Custom orders may not be returned under any circumstances. Used items are sold as described and are not refundable.
Shipping charges are non-refundable; however, we will gladly refund your original shipping cost if you are returning an item because of an error on our part or we have determined that the product is defective.
Our return policy does not apply to services including rentals, repairs, and lessons.
Gift receipts are valid for exchange or store credit only.
Purchases made by credit or debit card must be returned on the card of original purchase. Purchases made using a gift card will be refunded back to the same.
After we process a refund, it may take up to one week for your card issuer to process the refund on their end before you see it on your statement.

Before shipping items back to The Gear Box, please submit a formal request to return. Shipping charges back to The Gear Box are your responsibility. Return shipping and insurance is at your expense unless the product is determined to be defective. The Gear Box is not responsible for loss or damage to returned items during shipping.
